Hey, hey, Devon'

I know my best birthday wishes ever are early, but the Kindergarteners are in the school Christmas show this week..BUSY!BUSY!BUSY!!! They are in two song and dance numbers, and one ends in pillow fight. I am sure you get the picture. How exciting to have pierced ears, and you will find the neatest artistic earrings ever. I must confess that I was 21 when my ears were pierced. I had to be on the Dean's List every semester..an accomplishment you will surely achieve, I was delighted to read about the wonderful conferences with your teachers, and please tell Paige to keep doing her very best. Devon, stay warm wrapped in all the prayers and warm thoughts that are always with you.

Banu, You gave me a start this morning when I received the check for your Lexie bracelets order (Thanks by the way - really apprieciated) I did not know your daughter's name was Devon. Lexie's good friend and fellow warrior lost her battle this morning - Devon Lam.

We all need to continue the fight to prevent these sad happenings.
