Hi Devon, Banu, and Sean,

My name is Kathy and I know Pat, one of the advertising people with Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. I edit the Journal of Christian Nursing and Pat knows I pray a lot. I ask Pat for things I can pray for her and she passed on your story. Just want you to know I am lifting you up to Jesus, for everything you need.

Peace to you,
Kathy

Hi Devon! I was just checking out YOUR SONG!!!!! Oh my gosh!!! That is UBER-COOL (did I say that right?!?!)!!!! 8)

Sorry to hear you have been stuck in the house :( , but I'm sure you are trying to make the best of a bad situation!! Hang in there little Devon, sometimes it has to get worse before it can get better!

Still praying!

Hi, guys!
Devon, I hope you feel a bit perkier tonight now that your "tank" is full. G used to joke about having LOTS of energy after a transfusion!

Thanks for the shout-out, Banu...I am starting to bake like a maniac, it's my therapy! ;)

Devon, you & Paige will have to give Rosie & Genna some bowling tips sometime. We went this morning--I think it was only the 2nd time the girls ever went. They are...um...a little scary when waving 7 lb pink balls around. The pins didn't seem too alarmed...I hope your fundraiser is AWESOME! I'm with your mom, fighting for a cure is the way to stay sane. Well, that and cookies... :p

Hope you feel good tomorrow, and I hope we can see you sometime!

peace,
Kristin, Genna & Rosie (and Andrew's) mom

Hi, Devon-

Happy Heart Day!!! I knew you and Paige
had an awesome time in New York City.
The American Girl dolls are beautiful and
so special to have. You continue to be
such a terrific patient, and I know all of
our prayers are really helping. Take care,
Devon, and I will be in touch very soon.
XOXO
Mrs. Gillin

Hi, guys!
You know, we've never been to the American Girl store...G likes the idea of American Girl dolls, but I know she wouldn't do much with it (for as much as they cost, she has to LOVE it the most in the world! , and Rosie would LOVE one...we just haven't gotten there yet! ;) We went to the Hello Kitty store once...yikes.

Hang in there, Banu...we have been in that scary place, it can get better...G got services from the Commission for 2 years and then her good eye got TOO GOOD and they closed her file! :p Now I'm used to waving wildly so she can see me, but at first it is quite possibly the most heartbreaking thing in the entire universe...

ok, I can e-mail you later about this, but I so know, and it hurts to know you're in that spot...

The Bowling thing sounds so cool...not sure what that day looks like, we may have to have a road trip if my son isn't saving the world for baseball or something! :) Are you good at bowling, Devon? I am the WORST bowler in the world, it's really silly how bad I am. I used to take off my glasses so I couldn't see the pins, and then sometimes I bowled better, I have no idea why! Genna & Rosie LOVE bowling, but I have to stand behind Rosie so she doesn't let go and glonk the people behind her!

I love your smiley face things, I don't know how to do those in my cyber world, so I apologize for over-using them here! :p ;) 8) :grin

sorry for the epic, I've been thinking of you a lot...
peace,
Kristin, Genna & Rosie's mom
