Hi Everyone, Devon is now a year & half survivor of an inoperable brain tumor. Although we have come a long way, we can't become complacent & take our eye off on finding that unconditional cure. Stability of the tumor is temporary and things can change & do change very quickly.
So to raise funds for research, our neighbors who own Sabrina's Cafe' locations in Philadelphia, graciously offered to hold a fundraiser for the weekend of May 30th & 31st. For those two days, from 9:00am to 4:00pm brunch, they are going to offer a special pancake dish called "Devon's Pancake". When you order this dish 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the PLGA foundation. Please see the event page of this site for details.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you at Sabrina's Cafe locations this weekend. Devon will be at 910 Christian Street on Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00 or 2:00pm; depending on how long she can hang in there. While Paige and I most likely will be at 1804 Callowhill for the same duration.
Generally there is a large line outside of Sabrina's Cafe' locations so come early or call ahead; they don't take reservations.

Can't wait to see you there. PS: The girls had a wonderful Holiday weekend & they both joined a local swimming team. Devon can't wait to tell all her NOVA Wildcat Swim & Diving Team brothers & sisters that she is now officially on a swimming team.
